My (Wen) favourite Turner. I first saw it in Canberra Australia many years ago (a travelling exhibition). Not the best circumstances under which to view this very lovely painting. The long queue tried to hurry me past it, as I stood there gaping transfixed. So I bought the post card, and vowed that one day I would see the painting again in it's "home" gallery. In June 2010 we will be visiting London - so we'll get to see it.John.alexander5@bigpond.com Wonderful.
